The Gyproc® CLASSIC Wall System (featuring GypWall® CLASSIC 74S55Z) is a premium lightweight, non-loadbearing drywall partition system engineered by Saint-Gobain. This system is designed to replace traditional brick and mortar walls in residential, commercial, and institutional interior spaces, offering rapid installation, exceptional structural stability, and a perfectly smooth, seamless surface.

The core structural backbone of the system consists of precision-engineered GypFrame® galvanized steel framing, specifically C-Stud 74S55Z profiles secured into Top and Bottom U-Tracks (76T55Z). Lined on both sides with high-performance plasterboards like Gyproc® BaseLine® 12.5mm, the system features vertically and horizontally staggered board joints to ensure structural integrity and minimize joint cracking. Jointing is completed using Gyproc Paper Tape and Gyproc ProTop® All Purpose Ready-mixed Joint Compound. The internal cavity of the system allows for seamless routing of electrical and plumbing services while providing an ideal space for acoustic insulation to enhance sound dampening between rooms.
